Artist Bio:

Cynthia Garside is an abstract expressionist artist and creativity coach whose work explores the emotional interplay of colour, light and shadow. With a background in interior design and a passion for the transformative energy of paint, she uses acrylics, mixed media, and intuitive mark-making to express movement, texture, and the human experience. Inspired by the belief that everything is energy, Cynthia’s art is both a personal journey and a reflection of the world around her. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, her work is held in private and corporate collections across Canada, each piece marking a return to creative and personal centre.

Artist Statement:

Life's journey is rarely a straight line. The paths we travel twist, turn, and often diverge in unexpected ways. Yet, within each of us lies a compass—our intuition, inner knowing, and guiding light—always pointing us toward home. This work explores the process of reconnecting with that inner guidance, trusting it to lead us back to our authentic selves, and finding our way to the stillness at the center of who we are. Everything we need is already within us, waiting to illuminate the way.
