Linda Hamilton
Paper Sculptor
Linda makes botanical sculptures in her home studio in Almonte, Ontario, Canada under her business name, Daydream Flowers. She earned her BFA from York University in Toronto (2003). She uses all sorts of paper and paint, along with glue and wire, to accurately recreate plants and flowers. Linda loves to create a sense of wonder with her work, and to encourage respect for, and interest in, nature. She knows that many people have a strong emotional connection with flowers, and this is something she continues to explore. Her special interest is in wildflowers. Recently, Linda has also been creating botanical replicas of aquatic plants to be used as education tools. Linda is an invited member of the Paper Artist Collective and the Ottawa Society of Botanical Artists.
Melt Gallery is excited to welcome Linda to the gallery in the Spring of 2026 and represents Linda exclusively in the Prince Edward County and the braoder Quinte region.
